Machined from a solid 6061 T-6 aluminum, this head cover will reduce vibration and torsional distortion of your motor. Reduced vibration helps prevent carburetor fuel foaming, reduces cylinder cracking, and increases clutch efficiency due to less harmonic vibration being induced into the primary clutch. O-rings under the grade-8 head bolts create a watertight seal, virtually eliminating the need for silicon during assembly. This head cover is a must for any serious racer or high performance trail rider. Most external starter packs drive the nut that holds the flywheel on. This means that every time you start the sled you are over tightening the flywheel nut. If you are using an aluminum flywheel you are taking the chance of possible splitting the flywheel if half from over tightening it. The STARTER HUB uses the stock starter cup mounting holes so as not to induce any additional stress to the mag end of the crank shaft.
